The Private Care Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and maintaining staffing schedules for private care services. This position ensures that client care needs are met through appropriate caregiver assignments while maintaining high levels of customer service, efficient staffing utilization, and regulatory compliance.

Create, maintain, and adjust daily and ongoing private care schedules with a goal to have a
month in advance.

Match caregivers with clients based on skill, availability, preferences, and care needs.

Fill open shifts and arrange coverage for call-offs, schedule changes, and urgent staffing
needs.

Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care.

Notify staff promptly regarding schedule assignments and changes.

Maintain accurate employee availability, credentials, and contact information within
scheduling software.

Coordinate schedules for new admissions and service changes.

Communicate daily schedules, updates, and assignments to caregivers.

Verify availability and coordinate coverage for weekends, holidays, and emergency needs.

Maintain positive working relationships with caregivers and field staff.

Escalate staffing concerns to the Private Care Manager as appropriate.

Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned.

Qualifications:
CNA preferred
2 years of experience in home health, private duty, or senior care
Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
Strong written and verbal communication
EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency
