Key Responsibilities:

Execute a variety of cooking methods: grilling, sautéing, searing, frying, broiling, braising, and stewing.

Learn and apply modern techniques, including molecular gastronomy.

Maintain strong plate presentation and precise knife skills.

Follow menus and recipes accurately with minimal supervision.

Perform efficiently in a fast-paced à la carte environment.

Assist with creating daily and seasonal menu items.

Communicate effectively with the Chef de Cuisine and team regarding station needs.

Interact professionally with residents and guests in an open-kitchen setting.

Ensure proper food storage, rotation, sanitation, and daily cleaning.

Keep all storage areas clean and organized.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education Required:
High school education preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak English and follow written and oral directions. Technical or vocation training in Food Service or one (1) year on-the-job training is preferred.
Experience:
One (1) year of experience cooking in a restaurant or similar food service establishment required.
