Pastry Cook

Fleet Landing is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook[Full-Time] to support our baking and pastry program across multiple dining outlets, including fine dining, fast casual, grab-and-go, healthcare dining, and catering. This role works alongside or independently from the Pastry Chef to produce high-quality baked goods and pastries using scratch, box-scratch, and convenience methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts to meet the needs of different dining concepts.

• Follow recipes and maintain high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.

• Operate and maintain a hearth oven for artisanal breads and rolls.

• Apply strong baking fundamentals and techniques (proofing, decorating, plating, filling, etc.).

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Assist with inventory, storage, and daily cleaning tasks.

• Communicate effectively with culinary and dining teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional baking or pastry experience required.

• Vocational training in Baking & Pastry Arts preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and a passion for quality.
