Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Intake Specialist [Full-time] whose primary responsibility is to manage the inpatient and outpatient therapy and staff schedule and support the daily functions of the clinical coordinator, therapy team, and the Director of Rehabilitation. The specialist will also create a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents in preparation for therapy appointments, set up, and transportation to and from the therapy department, and assist when needed in care during therapy appointments under the supervision of a licensed therapist
  • Responsible for maintaining the good working conditions of all equipment and ensuring therapy gyms are clean and organized
  • Coordinates the inpatient and outpatient therapy staff schedule. Responsible for establishing new outpatient charts, maintaining patient charts, and collaborating with medical records. Perform Medicare/insurance verifications for residents. Assist with maintaining reports to ensure monthly operations were completed
  • Gather financial and insurance information from residents. Verify benefits and work with the billing team to ensure appropriate payments are rendered
  • Complete intake, release agreements, and forms before the initiation of treatment, and communicate to residents' therapy policies
  • Answer phone calls and respond appropriately to residents' concerns
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma
Preferred: Experience with word, excel, and outlook
Preferred: medical office experience (1 year preferred)
