Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Lead Cook [Full-Time] whose primary responsibility is assisting new residents with the move-in process, including home finishes selections and move scheduling. He or she serves as the liaison between new residents and Fleet Landing, working closely with the Remodeling Services and Sales teams to ensure streamlined communication and excellent customer service throughout the process. The New Resident Coordinator also manages a variety of administrative tasks to support residents and the Remodeling Services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares quality food in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Fleet Landing's established polices and procedures.
  • Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus and adheres to regulated food temperature standards.
  • Serves food in accordance with established therapeutic/mechanically altered diet regulations.
  • Prepares food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
  • Completes daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Attends in-service programs.
  • Assists the oversight of the Employee Meal Program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Minimum Education Required:
High school education preferred, not required. Must be able to read, write, speak English and follow written and verbal instructions in English. Technical or vocation training in Food Service or one (1) year on-the-job training is preferred.
 
Experience:.
One (1) year cooking experience in an institutional or restaurant setting is desirable
