Our Opportunity
Fleet Landing is growing and we are looking for a dynamic Dining Room Manager to lead our Healthcare  Dining Services teams.  With our latest expansion, we will soon be serving Residents, employees, and guests across 11 bold and cutting-edge dining outlets!  Our Dining Room Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of North Point Dining Room, Leeward Manor Dining Rooms, and meal delivery within these areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supports the mission, vision, and core values of Fleet Landing.
  2. Follows all established safety procedures and precautions.  Reports all unsafe/ hazardous conditions, and/ or defective equipment to Manager.  Reports all incidents/accidents, no matter how minor, to Manager.
  3. Oversees set up of the Dining Rooms and/or events. Assists where needed.
  4. Instructs staff on proper Dining Room etiquette.
  5. Manages flow of Dining Rooms during shift.
  6. Screens and interviews prospective new hires.
  7. Ensures all staff members abide by the Fleet Landing Dress Code.
  8. Assists Manager in hiring and onboarding of Dining Room personnel.
  9. Completes weekly schedules for all FOH staff.
  10. Responsible for all Staff uniform orders and maintains communication with Vendor.
  11. Schedules and sets up and BEO needs.
  12. Complete Dining Room and Delivery Menus on a weekly basis
  13. Attends month Resident Council and reports feedback to the Dining Services Manager.
  14. Hosts monthly Dining Committee Meetings for Assisted Living Residents.
  15. Assists Residents concerning information with dining room questions and ensures proper diets are followed.
  16. Ensures all FOH staff are compliant with Healthcare Academy
  17. Manages Dining staff during shift and provides feedback.
  18. Assists with setup, organization and management of catered events.
  19. Maintains alcoholic beverage inventory and coordinates beverage needs including ordering.
  20. Trains and manages Dining Room staff, Bartenders and “To Go” team.
  21. Maintains small wares (Plates, china, glassware, linen, utensils etc.) and uniform inventory. Recommends ordering to Dining Services Manager.
  22. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Minimum Education Required:
High school education required. Must be able to read, write, speak English and follow written and oral directions. Technical or vocation training in Food Service or one (1) year on-the-job training is preferred.
 
Experience:
One (1) year of experience managing a restaurant or similar food service establishment required. Must have basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel preferred). 
 
Employment Variables:
Must work flexible schedule, nights, holidays and weekends a must.  Hours may vary from time to time.  May be assigned to provide assistance in kitchen and/or help other departments.
This position is responsible for closing the restaurants and the work hours will be until approximately 9:00 pm. daily.
