Your Opportunity
We are seeking the services of a professional Chef de Cuisine for our multivenue assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing communities. This position oversees and is responsible for maintaining our high standards of food quality, production, staff direction and training.  The perfect candidate will have extensive food knowledge, people management and health services experience are a plus but not a requirement.  The CDC reports to the Executive Chef of Health Services and will assist in menu creation, ordering and fiscal success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage culinary services team operations and ensure compliance with all Food and Beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure proper food preparation and handling. Maintaining clean and organized storage areas.
  • Forecast and track daily meal production needs and ensure information is communicated to the team daily.
  • Work with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal and special menus.
  • Supervise and coordinates activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
  • Ensure culinary and dining team members are practicing proper food handling, sanitation and infection control guidelines as followed at all times.
Minimum Education Required:
High school education preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak English and follow written and oral directions. Technical or vocation training in Food Service or one (1) year on-the-job training is preferred.
Three (3) years of experience managing a team in a restaurant, healthcare dining or similar food service establishment..
