Fleet Landing currently has over 140 healthcare beds including a post-acute unit, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care.
 
We are seeking an Speech Language Pathologist whose primary responsibility is providing speech/language pathology and audiology services, providing education and consultation with patient/ family and other personnel, as well as completing assessments and evaluation of functioning

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide initial and on going assessments to identify the client's level of functioning and ability to communicate, including OASIS assessments at appropriate time points.
  • Develop the plan of care in consultation with the physician and other care team members, and revising it as appropriate.
  • Prepare clinical and progress notes.
  • Consult and coordinate services with other disciplines.
  • Plan for discharge
 
Qualifications:
 
Minimum Education Required:
Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology, Speech and Hearing Sciences or Communication Disorders. State Licensure. (or proof of registration to complete the Clinical Fellowship year in Speech Pathology after which certification can be obtained). ASHA Certification (or proof of ASHA Certification). Current CPR certification
 
Experience:
As applicable to assignment.
