We are seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist. Our ideal candidate will evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric caseload 1:1 with a mix of general orthopedic conditions, vestibular rehab, neurologic movement disorders, and performance enhancement programs. This is a Monday-Friday opportunity with occasional weekends. The Physical Therapist is responsible for supervising the Physical Therapy Assistant. Although this opening will work primarily in our outpatient clinic, there will be the opportunity to assist in our short term/long term rehab clinic as well.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of residents who demonstrate disorders of musculoskeletal deficiencies, neurological conditions, balance disorders, and transfer/gait deficits.  
  • Responsible for the completion of all necessary documentation.
  • Develop programs appropriate to the needs of the residents in the community, to assist them in achieving their highest feasible level of functioning.
  • Assist the community in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state, federal, and other appropriate certification.
  • Employ and follow all appropriate community infection control policies and procedures and will respect and follow OBRA Resident’s Rights Guidelines.
  • Attend all required meetings and in-services.
  • Provide a positive patient experience through patient engagement and evidence based treatment.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements. 
 
Minimum Education Required:
Masters of Science Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Will accept an new graduate. Current State Licensure, CPR/BLS certification
 
Experience:
As applicable to assignment.
