Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Rehab Technician whose primary responsibility is to set up/clean up or transport a patient before or after treatment. The Rehab Tech will coordinate inpatient and outpatient therapy staff schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the facility in maintaining the cleanliness, general maintenance and organization of the gym and rehab equipment.
  • Responsible for the appropriate copying, filing, and faxing of orders
  • Assist the facility in meeting the standards necessary to obtain state, federal, and other appropriate certification.
  • Employ and follow all appropriate facility infection control policies and procedures and will respect and follow OBRA Resident’s Rights Guidelines.
  • Report all accidents and incidents observed on the shift as they occur.
  • Immediately report all changes in Resident’s condition to supervisor of record.
  • Address Residents by retired rank, or Miss, Mrs. or Mr. and the family name.
  • Maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and a calm environment.
  • Adhere to current staff member grooming policy of Fleet Landing.
  • Report all hazardous conditions and equipment.
  • Wash hands before and after performing any services for a Resident.
  • Use only equipment you have been trained to use and operate all equipment in a safe manner.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of all Resident care information
Must be able to successfully maintain established competencies for the position.  Must demonstrate effective communication skills: both oral and written. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.  
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma.
